A table designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens at Lindisfarne Castle inspired the owner of an inherited dining table to commission its careful restoration, with new tops and a traditional soap finish for use in his architect's studio.

Bespoke stainless steel fittings allow the circular top to be lifted off and hung on a nearby wall, leaving a smaller square table to seat four people.
